Just thought I'd write to let you know that my boat, Dawn Treader, won our club's "Last Chance Race" this weekend.
After handicaps had been applied, our adjusted time was 8 seconds ahead of the boat that had actually won on the water.
A fantastic triumph, largely due to the excellence of the new sail you supplied.
Thank you again.
I now just have to persuade my wife that a new Genoa is more important than a new hall carpet. That may be a more difficult race to win.
