The snuffer (known as the Yo-Yo - invented by Jeckells) tames and controls any spinnaker or cruising chute with a slick "snuffing action". Installed as illustrated, the sail snuffer is a very simple design that removes what can be a cumbersome task. Because of the efficient handling of your spinnaker / cruising chute, it can also extend the life of your sails.
